Memo Arts Centre plays host to Into Film Festival 2015

Free film screenings for schools, colleges and youth groups to take place from 4th – 20th November 2015

Schools and colleges from Barry and the Vale of Glamorgan are being given the chance to take part in a memorable and educational cinematic experience as part of the Into Film Festival, the world’s biggest film festival for children and young people. They can enjoy a selection of free screenings and events as part of this UK wide Festival that uses the power of film to captivate young minds and bring learning to life.

Highlights from the programme taking place at the Memo include:

Big Hero 6 – Wednesday 4th November, 10am

The Princess and the Frog – Wednesday 11th November, 10am

The Princess Bride – Friday 13th November, 10am

Avengers: Age of Ultron – Wednesday 18th November, 10am

The Into Film Festival is an annual celebration of film and education, taking place across the UK for free as part of an on-going initiative to use the medium of film and filmmaking as a learning tool. Hosted by education charity Into Film, the Festival is made possible by support from Cinema First, a wide collaboration with UK cinema industry partners, and Festival delivery partner National Schools Partnership. Into Film is a nationwide film education charity supported by the BFI through Lottery funding.
