We are thrilled to be finally opening our doors for live events!

In line with recent Welsh Government guidance, the Memo will proceed with our Autumn programme as scheduled.
With that in mind, we wanted to update audiences on how we are going to operate moving forward.

two volunteers stand either side of the large Memo sign outside the building. They are wearing their Memo Volunteer tshirts and are both beaming. In the foreground are the bushes and grass at the front of the Memo and behind the large sign is the front of the building with its large windows and red brick.

In line with Welsh Government guidelines, the Memo Arts Centre is closed until further notice.
We look forward to welcoming you back when we are able to re-open. In the meantime, we have transferred some projects on-line and will continue to share more.
We thank you, with your support we can continue to operate and secure the Memo’s future. Please keep checking back for updates, follow us on social media and join our mailing list.

Thank you

We are so grateful for the ongoing support we have received from all our funders and grant providers, especially Barry Town Council, Arts Council of Wales, Vale of Glamorgan Council, Film Hub Wales and for all the wonderful messages of support from our amazing audiences and community.

We are confident that with your support and by working together, all of us will come out of this current crisis stronger and more connected than ever.

Support our future

We are a registered charity that raises over 65% of our turnover through live events, cinema, hires and Café Bar income.

To help us continue this vital work, please donate whatever you can. Alternatively, you can help us by donating any tickets for postponed events by not asking for a refund.

Each penny or pound will be used to secure our future
