Escapes: Our Land

Escapes gives audiences across the UK the chance to experience the magic of cinema for free, with a curated selection of independent films and special previews shown in independent cinemas.

About the film

Across the English countryside, access to land remains a subject of growing debate. OUR LAND follows people on both sides of the “Right to Roam” movement, exploring the tension between tradition, ownership, and the increasing demand for public access to green spaces.

At its heart, the film asks a simple but powerful question: who does the land belong to, and who gets to experience it?
