Co-Production

Want to work with us on a Co-Production?

We sometimes work with artists and companies as a co-producing organisation.

Usually this is by invitation in response to an available commission fund or an opportunity resulting from a collaborative project. Partnering with artists in this way is usually a result of a long-term relationship between the Memo and a company and develops after several years of supporting their work as co-promotions.

If you’re interested in co-producing with us please complete a Co-Production Enquiry Form via the link below.

The Memo will acknowledge receipt of your proposal but we regret that we are not always able to provide individual feedback.

Co-Promotion

A co–promotion is an event by an artist or company that we actively work with. In the past we have worked with Creu Cymru, Bombastic and Harnisch-Lacey Dance Theatre. The level of support we give is dependent on the individual project but can mean inclusion in the Memo brochure and website, advice with marketing, social media and e-marketing, provision of rehearsal space, technical advice and mentoring.

Looking to hire one of our spaces for your show?

If we feel your production is not suitable for our own-promoted performing arts programme, you may wish to consider promoting your event yourself at the Memo by hiring the venue. We hire out our theatre spaces for theatre and dance performances (long and shorts runs), live music gigs, special events, filming, community, corporate and charitable activities. The Memo can also provide a Box Office service for these events. We provide some basic marketing coverage within the basic hire price (e.g. brochure and website listing) but we expect the hirer to take the primary responsibility for the marketing and promotion of their event.
