Welsh Encontro Cymru Showcase

South Wales’s largest and longest running carnival street bands, Samba Galêz and Barracwda, are teaming up to deliver the Welsh Encontro Cymru 2025.

Join us on the evening of Sunday 4th May for a live event showcasing some of the best Afro-Brazilian percussion. Playing live along both host bands will be Ẹdùn Ará, Baque de Axé and Bloco B. DJ Roberto Canassa will be bringing his box of Latin inspired beats to keep you dancing throughout the night.
