‘Beautiful Boy’ is the true story of father and son David and Nic Sheff, and their attempts to cope with Nic’s struggle with addiction over many years. 

When Nic becomes addicted to increasingly powerful drugs and finds himself in darker and darker places, David feels like he can barely recognise him anymore. But through pain, relapse and recovery, he can’t bring himself to give up on his son.
