About ConunDrum: ConunDrum are a percussion duo comprised of Harry Greenway and Ellen Smith. The pair met while studying for their Masters in Percussion Performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. They have performed together in various ensembles including a variety of chamber music ensembles while at College where they were fortunate to perform in concert with the London Symphony Orchestra’s Sam Walton.
They have also participated in masterclasses with 4-MALITY, Steve Whibley and Chris Stock and their teachers have included Patrick King, Henry Baldwin and both members of O-Duo (Owen Gunnell and Oliver Cox).
ConunDrum was officially formed after Harry and Ellen’s graduation in 2017 and they have since performed across South Wales in a number of settings and for a variety of audiences.
Their repertoire consists of a large variety of usic, both in style and in the percussion instruments used. It includes genres such as classical transcriptions, jazz-influenced works, contemporary compositions (some self-penned) and their own arrangements and medleys of modern songs.
