BillBoard Ensemble present Jack and the Beanstalk

Fee… Fi… Fo… Fum…

This December join us for a giant of a pantomime as BillBoard Ensemble proudly present the family favourite Jack and the Beanstalk.

Life on their farm is hard for our hero Jack and his mother Dame Trott – they haven’t a bean to their name. Jack’s mother tells him they must sell their friendly family cow at the market.On his way to market Jack meets a man who offers him some magic beans in exchange for the cow. Jack’s mother is furious and throws the beans out of the window.

Overnight a huge beanstalk grows where the beans land. Jack decides to climb the beanstalk up to cloudland and discovers a huge castle full of riches beyond his wildest dreams – but the castle is home to an evil giant!  Can Jack outwit the giant and return to save his family and the girl he loves?

Expect laughs, music, special effects, magic beans and bundles of audience participation in this giant of a pantomime.

This is a performance ideal for people with learning disabilities, autism, or anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed environment. Changes made to this performance – including quieter music, reduced loud or surprising sound effects and no strobe lighting.

The performance will be BSL Interpreted by Julie Doyle. Customers are advised to select seats in the following area: Seats 1-6 in Rows A – K in the Stalls. The interpreter will stand in a visible position and interpret the spoken and heard elements of the performance.
